Do I need to install an app?

No. TLDL works inside WhatsApp and Telegram: forward the voice note and get the reply in the same chat.

Does it work on Telegram too?

Yes: open @tldlchannelbot on Telegram and forward your voice notes to it. There too the first 10 summaries are free, then top-ups are paid in Telegram Stars. WhatsApp and Telegram accounts are separate. It works in groups too: add it, and long voice notes get a Summarize button, or reply to a voice note with /tldr. Whoever asks pays.

Which languages does it support?

It summarizes voice notes in a great many languages and writes the summary in the language of the voice note. Service messages are in English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German and French.

How long can a voice note be?

Up to 30 minutes. Each summarized voice note uses one summary from your balance.

How much does it cost?

You start with 10 free summaries. Then top up whenever you like, no subscription: 10 summaries for €0.99, 25 for €1.99, 60 for €3.99 or 160 for €9.99. If you use a lot, Plus gives you 100 summaries a month for €6.99. Voice notes we cannot process are not deducted.

Do you store my voice notes?

No. The audio is processed and discarded, and the summary text is deleted as soon as it has been delivered to you.
